Online Video
Our online pre-trip inspection video is great for those who need a visual aid to help you learn how to successfully perform a pre-trip. Our instructor, Phil, walks you through the proper pre-trip routine and describes all items that must be identified and inspected before taking off on a run. The video covers: tractor and trailer exterior inspection, in-cab inspection, engine compartment inspection, and demonstrates a 4-point brake check. Our illustrated study guide is a PDF document that contains full-color photos that illustrate and identify each of the items you’ll need to know when conducting a pre-trip inspection. It’s hard to memorize the items you need to check when you don’t even know what they look like! This makes the illustrated study guide a great hands-on practice tool.

PTI Checklist
Our checklist organizes each item to help you easily learn how to pass the pre-trip portion of your CDL skills test.
